She has more than two decades of experience in civic engagement, social impact research, and collaborative initiatives. Throughout her career, Emily has created meaningful partnerships across a variety of sectors, including institutions of higher education, governmental entities, nonprofits, religious groups, philanthropy, and others in leadership roles in communities.
Emily focuses her skills on strategic inquiry, a facilitation process that helps groups move through the design, implementation, sustainability, and reflection phases of social change and community engagement work. She has extensive experience using data to inform decision-making.
With masters degrees in public affairs and social work from the University of Texas at Austin, Emily has always been interested in how collaborative learning, dialogue, and storytelling can be applied to making the world a better place.
Reflections from those I’ve worked with:
“I’m glad we are finally talking about it. These honest conversations will help us reach our sustainability goals.”
“Wow, Emily. This report is great. We have a lot of chew on before our next conversation.”
